The 10th edition of ÉvoraWine was officially presented this Thursday, at the Hotel Convento do Espinheiro, an event that is one of the largest celebrations dedicated to wine, gastronomy and culture of the Alentejo. The initiative returns on May 23 and 24 to the emblematic Praça do Giraldo, promising to surpass previous editions, both in size and regional impact.
The presentation session was attended by José Santos, president of the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo, Carlos Pinto de Sá, Mayor of Évora, and Pedro Luiz de Castro, from the Confraternity of Oenophiles of Alentejo. The interventions underlined the relevance of ÉvoraWine as an instrument for promoting the territory, the Alentejo wine heritage and local economic dynamism.
The organization is committed to a diversified program, where the tasting of wines from producers in the region, the gastronomic offer and cultural moments converge for a reference wine tourism experience. With a decade of history, ÉvoraWine remains a structuring event for the sector, reinforcing the connection between wine, the Alentejo identity and the city’s public space.
ÉvoraWine 2025 will take place on May 23rd and 24th, at Praça do Giraldo, in Évora, with free admission. The initiative has the support of several regional and local entities, and expects to attract thousands of visitors, including the general public, professionals in the sector and wine enthusiasts.
